What is rosacea?
Rosacea is a fairly common skin condition that causes redness of the face, often associated with easy blushing or flushing. It can also cause pimple-like breakouts. The redness can slowly spread beyond the nose and cheeks to the chin and forehead. For some people, even their ears, back, and chest can be red all of the time. For others, permanent redness is visible in the center of the face.
What are the causes?
There are likely many causes for rosacea including genetics, fair-skin, and sun exposure. Individuals can have many different triggers that can be food-related and environmental. The skin experts at Skin Wellness Center can help you identify and avoid such triggers.
